Carnets de rêves (Dream Notebooks)

Baptiste Gourden's period fiction, between realism and poetry. A man whose disfigured face keeps him from speaking sings for a living; Anna gives him her notebooks of dreams; little Juliette writes and draws her own. A delicate costume drama.
