Babajaga: Witches in Updraft

Women in gliding were long treated as guests in a man's sport. Pilots including Monika Warstat, the only East German woman to become European champion, and Gisela Weinreich look back on the decades it took to get a Women's World Gliding Championship, held in 2005. The title plays on the witch Baba Yaga: their broom is a glider. A German documentary by Thomas Siegel and Michael Schneider.
